Dave, Alanea and their Yorkshire Terrier (Tiff) moved from Toronto in September 2010 to Roquebrune Sur Argens, France. Dave spent the majority of his career in Toronto downtown and the beaches in financial planning and life insurance. In 2000 Dave worked with DBRS, Canada’s premier debt rating agency and in 2004 became Vice President of eResearch, an equity research firm that focused on small to mid cap public companies.

Since relocating to France Dave has remained accessible to his life insurance clients through email and telephone, edited, in English, technical ERP proposals for a Swiss Company and is assisting a Toronto Stock Exchange listed company with promotion and funding.

Dave’s affiliation with Currencies Direct (a company dedicated to saving expats and new home buyers’ money on currency exchange transactions) allows him to help people buying properties in France to ensure that they maximize their buying power.

Alanea is a successful Predictive Index seminar facilitator focusing on Russian and Polish based international firms and is a trained, international coach focusing on Expats and their challenges.

Dave’s hobbies are well suited to living in the south of France. He is an avid road cyclist (5 time Ironman Triathlete), a golfer and a great help in the kitchen. Living in France has allowed Dave, Alanea and Tiff to branch out and learn valuable life, professional and bureaucratic lessons which they will share with other interested Canadians.
